All Green.Made products meet, either fully or nearly fully, our high standards for sustainable production and environmental friendliness – a benchmark we set for ourselves to ensure the highest ecological standards.
Pure Vegan
Our vegan products contain no animal materials such as leather, wool, silk, down, or fur. The ingredients are also entirely free from animal-derived substances.
Pure Natural
By using natural materials, we preserve antibacterial and skin-friendly characteristics. Good for the skin, good for the environment.
Durable
We use natural raw materials with exceptional characteristics that ensure long-lasting durability. These include durable cotton, robust cork, and long-fiber solid wood.
Resource-Saving
We carefully select our materials, such as solid wood from sustainable forestry and cork, which is harvested without cutting down a single tree.
CO2-Saving
Our production is carbon-free. We use 100% green electricity from modern wind power plants, including the local facility in Sornzig-Ablaß, and support the "Baumstarke Stadt" initiative in Leipzig. Additionally, we ship climate-neutrally with DHL.
Toxin-Free Production
Our production process is free from harmful substances. We also ensure that all product components, such as closures, threads, and packaging, are either toxin-free or manufactured with reduced toxins.
Skin-Friendly
Our clips, adjusters, and fasteners are made from high-quality, nickel-free materials, making them gentle on the skin. Additionally, our fabrics, such as cotton, linen, and hemp, are known for their skin-friendly characteristics.
Recycled and Recyclable
For our products, we use packaging material that is 100% recyclable and can be disposed of with paper waste. It is free from plastics and licensed according to Packaging Act § 9 and § 10.

MAY-TIE Originals
MAY-TIE Originals fully or nearly fully meet the Green.Made criteria and go through at least 7 out of 8 processes in the MAY-TIE Atelier in Leipzig, Germany.
Design
All MAY-TIE Originals are designed by us in 2D and 3D, including shape, color, and packaging. This allows us to gain a clear impression of the final product early on and simplifies and accelerates the subsequent processes.
Development
Using the design data, our tools, and close collaboration with national and international suppliers, we optimally prepare the products for production. This ensures the highest quality and meets the Green.Made criteria.
Cutting
Based on the detailed guidelines from the development phase, the cutting process takes place. We maximize the use of available materials and prioritize zero waste to offer a fair price while protecting the environment.
Finishing and Components
Our components, such as glazes, threads, nickel-free, skin-friendly closures, and packaging, are sustainably produced in Germany and are certified according to EN71/3, Blue Angel, Oeko-Tex 100, GOTS, or similar standards.
Production
We are proud that all MAY-TIE Originals are crafted in the MAY-TIE Atelier in Leipzig. This means you receive genuine craftsmanship from Leipzig, Germany!
Quality Control
Although our high standards of quality accompany every preceding process, we also ensure it in the final product: Our quality return rate stands at 0.00%.
Packing
For us, packing is always an experience – and for you, the unboxing! All products leave our atelier in their original packaging, ensuring a perfect presentation.
Shipping
For us, shipping means more than just sending a package. We ship worldwide in a climate-neutral way and provide tracking numbers so you can follow your genuine original from Leipzig on its journey.
